We’ve covered off the hosting options in Part 1 and covered off how to buy and setup a VPS (using Contabo) in Part 2. Now we have 1 final step before we can start installing and running our Guardian node – registration.
Timpi Guardian Node Registration
In order for the Timpi Autonomous Protocol [TAP] to know which Guardian NFT we want to run against which node/server, we need register our unique NFT on the system and map it to the IP Address/FQDN [Fully Qualified Domain Name] of the server we’ll run it on.
Step 1
Go to https://timpi.com/node/register
Step 2
Connect your Keplr Wallet (this has to be the one containing your Guardian NFT)
Step 3
Select the specific Guardian NFT you want to register. Then enter the IP address/FQDN of your server (for Contabo VPS – use the IP address you got from Part 2).
Step 4
Make a note of your Node ID – you’ll need this later.
Registration Complete
That’s it – your Guardian NFT is mapped to your Node server and you’ve got your ‘Node ID’ which you’ll need for Part 4 – Timpi Guardian Node installation.
